Saturday 3 November, 7.30pm
John Lenehan is a hugely versatile musician. Although best known as accompanist to Tasmin Little, Emma Johnson and John Harle to name but a few, he has recorded more than 70 CDs including the complete works of John Ireland, and is also busy as a composer and arranger.
The art of improvisation is less common these days, and so John’s recital is one with a difference, and is not to be missed! His programme includes music by Debussy, Schumann and Mozart with films specially created in the 1930s to accompany them in the manner of Walt Disney’s memorable “Fantasia”. The programme will also contain some classic silent film comedy from Harold Lloyd.
Tickets are £20, and £10 for students. Please go to Bath Box Office to order.
